The CUSEC 2006 Organizing Commitee is made up of a diverse group of students, both graduate and undergraduate, from all across Canada. We encourage others who are interested in actively participating in the organisation of the conference to contact us.

Chairperson

John Kopanas, Studying For Life, Concordia University

Those who are not meant to be software engineers devote their lives to bringing software engineers together and that is exactly what I have done for the last five years. After being part of CUSEC’s founding team and chairing the conference three times I have decided my passion is too strong for CUSEC and software engineering that I can’t just walk away from it no matter how hard I try or don’t try.

I am a Software Engineering student at Concordia University. Aside from working on CUSEC promotions, I also organize activities as President of the ACM chapter of Concordia. I urge you to come to CUSEC, because it has always been the greatest highlight of my academic year. I would regret anyone interested in learning to make good software to miss out.

Sponsorship

Neeraj Mathrani, Undergraduate, University of Waterloo

Hi, I am a third year Software Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I am currently on a co-op work term at Electronic Arts Canada, working on FIFA 2007 for current gen. consoles. Last work term, I was part of the NBA Live 2006 AI team for XBox 360.

I joined CUSEC to make an impact on Canada’s Software Engineering community. CUSEC is the only Canadian student initiative that brings together so many students, academics and professionals, all having one thing in common, their passion for Software Engineering. Well, actually, I am sure they have a lot more things in common:) Anyways, many of the top Software Companies are excited about CUSEC v5.0 and about meeting talented Software Engineers like you. Hope to see you there!
